Tasks we have set ourselves:

3 out of 5 afflicted men and women in India do not know they have diabetes, an ignorance itself contributing indirectly to proliferation of this affliction.
We have, therefore, set ourselves these tasks:
One, Create a sense of cooperation, fellow-feeling and deep fraternity among the juvenile diabetics.

Two, provide educational and counseling services to the juvenile diabetics.
Three, Uphold the social rights of the juvenile diabetics.
Four, Remove prevailing conceptions, prejudices, and discriminations against the diabetics.

Five, Help juvenile diabetics attain their potential by providing them with insulin, education, and training to cope with their affliction.

What we do

Organise Awareness Camp several times a year, with diabetes detection and counseling facilities, at varied places, on varied occasions, in villages, schools, colleges, at book fair social gathering city places.

Run a Free Diabetes Clinic at Calcutta Heart Clinic & Hospital in Salt Lake, Kolkata, West Bengal, where blood sugar levels are checked, counseling provided on diet and nutrition, and guidance is offered.

Distribute free insulin vials, syringes, other medicines to needy juvenile diabetics. Collect donations from individuals, professional bodies, voluntary associations and the like in order to sustain our efforts and carry forward.

Our plan is to
Set up a low-charge pathological clinic for poor juvenile diabetics.
Provide ambulance service with on the spot treatment facilities.
Create a home and clinic for juvenile diabetes patients.
Arrange for free beds and dialysis units for juvenile diabetics in hospitals.
Search the road to cure of diabetes.
